"Improvement of mobility within the scope of the Rondes of Barcelona"
A workshop that will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Barcelona Room at the premises of the Urban Ecology Department of the City Council of Barcelona (Av. Diagonal, 240, Room Barcelona).
PRESENTATION:
Within the framework of the INMAB project (Interconnection of networks, port, airport and optimal traffic management in the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona), a study is being carried out to evaluate the impact of the implementation of new intelligent management strategies of Traffic (ITS) on mobility in the Rondes of Barcelona and how their evolution towards collaborative technologies (c-ITS) will allow to respond to new challenges, such as the connected and autonomous vehicle.
Two plenary sessions will be held:
* ITS Strategies applicable to the scope of the Rondes for the improvement of the Mobility.
* Technological innovation and future of mobility in the space of the Rondes.
